Individual Therapy for Children and Teens
Sometimes, younger children do not have the words to express themselves or clearly describe what is troubling them. I will help your child by using art or play as part of their therapy. Younger children often feel more comfortable while engaged in an activity and can be very expressive and communicative. Over the years, I have collected a wide variety of therapy books, toys, and techniques to use specifically with younger children. Play therapy can be interactive and fun!
For children ages 3-11:
- Separation and divorce
- Phobias and unusual or excessive fears
- Separation anxiety
- Depression and anxiety

- Low self-esteem
Loss of a loved one, friendship, relationship, or beloved pet
Whether you are a seasoned couple with many years of commitment behind you, or if you are just starting out, it’s possible to get stuck at any place along the way. I can help you to improve your communication styles and feel more heard and understood by your partner.
For pre-marital, married, or life partners wanting help with:

At least one in five people over the age of 65 suffers from a mental disorder. It is predicted by 2030, the number of persons with psychiatric disorders in this older group will be equal to or greater than the number with such disorders in younger age group. Despite the growing requirement for mental health services for older persons, there is substantial unmet need.
With seniors, I focus on skills to cope with and manage depression, anxiety, grief and loss issues, medication management and stabilization, increased social interaction, and increased confidence with family and friends.
End of Life Issues
Whether you are a caretaker and/or a loved one awaiting the passing of a dear family member or friend, or whether you need to make the difficult decision to transition a parent or loved one into assisted living, hospice, or palliative care, end of life issues can be very difficult and emotionally draining for all involved.
Treating our elders with respect and dignity in their final days, weeks, months, or years is important to those who love them and I encourage any caretaker and/or loved one who is in need of support during this challenging period to take time in therapy for themselves and for their families.
